Stephen Sollows was out at the park today and this is what he reported.
The skiing was not great at the park today. There is about 4 inches of fresh light powder and the glide is poor. I was unable to groom as we need a couple of more inches or so for the snowmobile to work OK. The paved loops are all passable with some patches wearing down to asphalt or gravel and the campground is similar. Caution on hills is necessary. If you hit a piece of gravel or asphalt you can stop in a hurry or do a nice “head plant”.
Please use caution if you are out at the park skiing or walking. I will keep you posted as to what the conditions are and if the cabin will be open.
